Getting Started

Set up OpenTypeless with your own STT + LLM providers in about 10 minutes. This guide is optimized for first-time BYOK users.

Install and Launch

  1. Download OpenTypeless for your OS and complete installation.
  2. Open the desktop app and go to Settings.
  3. Keep microphone permission enabled so STT testing can run end-to-end.

Configure STT and LLM

  1. In Settings > Speech Recognition, choose one STT provider and paste API key.
  2. Run STT test and confirm latency is returned.
  3. In Settings > AI Polish, choose one LLM provider, then set API key/model/base URL.
  4. Run LLM test and confirm latency is returned.

First End-to-End Check
