Global Hotkey

Configure the keyboard shortcut that activates voice input from any application.

Default Hotkeys

Windows/Linux: Ctrl+Shift+Space. macOS: Cmd+Shift+Space. These defaults work well for most users and don't conflict with common application shortcuts.

Customizing

  1. Open OpenTypeless settings and go to the Hotkey tab.
  2. Click the hotkey field and press your desired key combination.
  3. Click Save. The new hotkey takes effect immediately.

Troubleshooting

If the hotkey doesn't work, check if another application is using the same shortcut. On macOS, you may need to grant Accessibility permissions in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
